Pros

Good WLB, company/senior leadership culture. Interesting data science projects and decent tech stack among some teams.

Cons

Politics, reorgs, some people not pulling their weight which causes the politics by which they attempt to justify their value. Plenty of incompetence to be found in lower/middle management. You often get promoted based on how long you've been in your role, not your contribution. Compensation poor compared to real tech and real finance.
