Pros

The interview process is short and sweet. After filling out the application, the process is very efficient.

Cons

After obtaining the job, there is no job security. They give you four-five days in the call center - GCS to learn over 8 systems. They do not provide the appropriate training to maintain the scores necessary to keep the job. Capital One sets employees up to fail because they do not allow time for training of the systems available for use.

Pros

- Benefits (3 weeks PTO, sick days don't count, health, dental, vision, FSA matching...) - Work / Life Balance - Employee appreciation (Fun days, spring flings, etc...) - Training - Vision

Cons

The company puts a lot of effort into hiring the "best" and "brightest"... until there is a shortage of employees at which point many of the elements designed to screen the "less desirable" people are often thrown out the window. This is a non issue most of the time, but the company's year end review process is such that people above, below, and at your level have a say and can impact your year end rating. So if politics isn't your game then this may not be the company for you.

Pros

Open to change and new ideas. Leadership is always pretty accessible and open to helping.

Cons

Locations are never in the actual city - commutes can be brutal
