Overall it was a great company to work for. I learned a lot in my 12 years there.
Pros
Career growth, PTO, lots of engagement and fun. Huge on diversity and community outreach programs. I also utilized the tuition reimbursement.
Cons
They have an insane rating system that affects every aspect of your career. It’s the only company I know that no matter how well you do your job, if the external customer doesn’t audibly voice their pleasure, you get rated as a neutral or worse a detractor. No matter how wonderful you did, if the customer isn’t clear with their approval, it will count against you. Even in positions with no customer involvement, you’re rated as a neutral. It’s that way across the board. Also it’s extremely political. 90% of all internal interviews are just formalities. They know who they want ahead of time. Actively seek out feedback. Otherwise, you’ll never grow with the company.
