Pros

- Great pay - Great benefits - Love the Richmond campus and the new M2 building - Some really smart people

Cons

- Management doesn't understand basic Product techniques - Performance Management is forced distribution and is based on your manager's opinion (not your work or success or anything else you have done) of you. Your goals and performance are not usually even mentioned in calibrations. Your reviews are political and only people who play politics really well get promoted. - Product at Capital One CC basically consists of people who are trained as Business Analysts being Product Managers without any training in most cases. In some cases, the people who "train" the analysts on Product are themselves former Business Analysts who also don't fully understand product. - Tech teams are evaluated on points completed - While agile, design thinking, etc are talked about, those techniques are not followed. Agile is only used for tech teams (not the full process).
