Pros

The clients Literally nothing else.

Cons

-Very little training and they are incredibly crafty. It is now mandatory to have a level 2 care certificate, instead they fob you off with a "working towards a care certificate" induction and certificate and mention it no further because they want to doing calls as soon as possible but with little experience. -You are sent into situations where you do not know the clients, (despite them claiming they always do an introduction, this is rubbish). -You are treated like you are disposable. -Care managers literally don't care. -The actual manager was harassing, asked me to hand in my uniform and then left me hostile voicemails because apparently they still expected me to work? And threatened me with escalating it to safeguarding. -You are not allowed to be unwell. -Pay your staff for overtime! It is not their fault if a client takes longer than usual and you should not scrutinise your staff for this. This is why you have such a high-staff turnover. -They send non-English speaking carers who cannot communicate clearly and this is especially dangerous when hoisting etc. -They also send carers when the client has specifically asked not to have that one, so you end up having to apologise on behalf of the office and look silly. -Terrible management. -If you do not agree to do even more hours than you are harassed and called repeatedly until you do. -Office staff are catty about their carers.

Pros

I personally can not see any pros to working for this organisation.

Cons

- Very poor training. You are sat in a room for a week learning and then expected to go straight out in to the field and know what you're doing. This is fine if you have past experience but if you are new to domiciliary care, it can be very challenging. - Very poor wage for the work you are doing - minimum wage just doesn't cut it. - Expenses paid in to wage so you are taxed and NI on it (meaning you are not receiving back the full amount you payed out for expenses). - They insist you go in to the office on a particular day every week, which as a part time staff member who only worked weekends would be very inconvenient trying to get there on a week day. - Lone working and no support from management / supervisers when you're out in the field. - They do not give you enough travel time between calls, meaning you often run late, resulting in finishing an hour later than you were supposed to without getting payed for it. - You only get paid for the calls that you do as opposed to the hours you work. This means if you have a 2 hour gap between calls you are not getting paid for it.

Pros

they don't pay badly. IS the only good thing about the company but in the end, many times the money is spent on petrol and other things.

Cons

they are a company that doesn't care about the employees. the cost associated the job. the hours if they have hours or they have a lot of hours. In the beginning, many times they don't give a day of to the workers. etc.....
