Pros
Everyone I have worked with at my level and management level are so lovely and I felt very supported as I started which was great for someone new to care. You are made to feel very welcome to the team and have constant contact with supervisors/managers checking up on how you are doing and supporting your growth through the company, such as through the completion of training and the care certificate. They acknowledge you have life outside of work and give a good amount of time to complete these things, which you also get paid for. The pay is very fair- paid for both distance and time travelled alongside call times. You also get more pay doing early mornings, evenings and weekends which is brilliant. They supported me greatly to begin with so I could build my confidence up and now I thoroughly enjoy the job and love 99% of the clients.
Cons
Rotas can change at short notice and sometimes can be set out in a way that you need to drive a bit of distance between some calls.
