It's a large company so there is a lot of internal opportunity for those who can build relationships and always focus on the right things at the right times.
Cons
It's a large company so it is possible for high-value employees to be lost. Cisco has, over time, become a very process-driven company which, in my opinion, has contributed to an overall segmentation of roles. This means that if it ain't your job, they may not listen even if your ideas are better.
