Pros

Staff discount, holiday entitlement, pension are the main pros for me at this time, though I would like to say in the past I would have added, security, support and pride.

Cons

Insecurity, uncertainty, lack of appreciation, lack of support and communication from and with management. No confidence in management to do what they say they will do and no confidence in them to do the right thing for individual areas.

Pros

Pay rise , pension scheme , union and break times . Managers can assert authority, but also good for any personal problems .

Cons

overtime is either to much or not enough. Some of the staff don't lull their wheight and trying to get a weekend off is a nightmare.

Definitely the discounts. Making friends/Family. And seeing (most) customers daily made you smile. Also building confidence in someone that couldn't even walk to the shop on her own 6 years ago

Cons

It's hard graft...don't care what anyone says. I'm 24 and I worked in our shop for 6 years, I no longer know what it feels like not to ache haha.
