Pros

Treated with respect by managers. Have been supportive in rearranging my shifts to fit around uni. Have helped me gain work experience in areas other than my current role

Cons

A lot of work to do in a short amount of time. Although they offer duty management training there are very few opportunities to get a management job due to the recession/cut backs. This is happening in all supernarkets though and doesn't reflect badly on the co-op

Pros

Good work colleagues, well at least the junior members of staff. Staff discount, generally good atmosphere. Good Store Manager and Area Manager although the store manager could use a little more involved approach.

Cons

Not very organised and also the senior employees that has been there for a long time are more do as I say and not do as I do. This is not a good motivational factor for the junior members of staff.

Absolutely love working for the cooperative food in one of its busy distribution depots. Can't fault it at all.
