Unions make everyone a big baby. No ability to climb the ladder if someone with more seniority is a major slacker. Have to wait until they quit or retire to get promoted.

Terrible place to work if you want to be rewarded for going above and beyond. Terrible place to work if you want to grow in your career. Terrible place to work if you want a good work life balance. Terrible place to work if you expect to actually get the scheduled holidays off.

A mans man company, racial and sexual harassment issues ignored

Good work life balance, decent pay. Good benefits.

Cons

Racial incidents were swept aside in my opinion, distasteful jokes etc were not dealt with. Indian workers in the US were slow to be promoted and paid more was one concern that they didn't bat an eye to. A sexual harassment case occurred at the office and that was shrugged and ignored as well, no disciplinary action taken at all.
