Pros

You get Christmas through new years off. Company helps pay for schooling after working there for a certain time. Company rewards the collective effort of all employees with food. Shift differential.

Cons

Good ol boys club between supervisors and leads. Company had a mass hiring which brought on bad/lazy and unqualified techs. Company pushes for integrity, respect, honesty but that's not really shown by certain supervisors. There are a lot of issues around customer products not being done on time or correctly. Management's solution to the problem is to implement more oversight and micro manage more processes along the way instead of evaluating the individual technicians who are creating the problems.

Pros

Excellent place to work if you are a union member. First line supervisors and value stream leaders are typically great people and will work with you to make you successful.

Cons

Corporate leadership seems to view salary employees as just a number on the spreadsheet. Over 100 folks were recently laid off with zero warning and equally as much compassion. Slow to change to emerging market conditions. Huge issues with supply chain reliability.

Pros

Highly complex products. As a design engineer the sky is the limit and there's so much to learn and so much opportunity for technical growth. I enjoy the relationship we have with our customers and seeing first hand how our products benefit our service members.

Cons

Slow development cycles, lots of learning on your own with little technical assistance, 3% annual raises
