Business Outlook
Pros
A lot of material for resume padding. Great Employee Scholar Program, and a superb training ground for the "corporate business model". Decent benefits. A reasonable place to spend the first five years or last five years of your career.
Cons
Beyond the first tier of management, it really seems like there is a lack of understanding of the work that is actually being done -and what it takes to get it done. A lot of performance pressure with very little support from upper management. Career advancement is possible, but it seems that internal transfers are short-changed on salary offers. Some policies can be confusing and most are poorly enforced.
