Pros

Work from Home is the only good benefit

Cons

Working as an RTR Exper has been a frustrating experience that highlights the pitfalls of a stagnant role in a high-turnover environment. From day one, I was assigned a rigid set of tasks—filing documents, answering routine emails, and updating spreadsheets—that repeated day in and day out with zero variation. The monotony quickly set in, turning what should have been a stepping stone into a soul-crushing grind. There's simply no room for growth here; promotions are nonexistent, and skill development opportunities are as rare as a quiet afternoon. Management seems content with the status quo, offering no training or challenges to help employees advance. The workforce turnover is another major red flag. Colleagues come and go like clockwork, often lasting only a few months before burnout or better offers pull them away. This constant churn disrupts team dynamics, leaving the remaining staff to pick up the slack without additional support. I've seen talented people leave frustrated, and it creates a culture of isolation where building meaningful connections feels impossible. If you're seeking stability or a place to build your career, this isn't it—it's more like a temporary holding pattern that drains your motivation over time.

Pros

My direct supervisor tried to make the job bearable

Cons

This company is the equivalent of an abusive relationship. Management never has any idea what’s going on. They’ll change your schedule at midnight and expect you to see it, or randomly add days to your schedule and expect you to drop everything to work the shift. If you ask a manager to remove it, you’re told, “It’s what the client needs.” IF management does care, they’re too spineless to stand up to the client. There is no work-life balance. You are expected to work holidays. When I asked if there was any way to be off on holidays to see my family, I was told I could see them on my breaks to enjoy the holiday, and they genuinely expected me to see that as a perk. During low call times, you’re required to be on camera and participate in awkward forced conversations ON CAMERA, as if we’re in some cult where the client is the leader. I would also not recommend working here if you’re transgender. They claimed to be inclusive, yet never updated anything to reflect my name, and I was misgendered on a daily basis. They don’t care about their employees. During training, someone’s son needed emergency surgery, and she was told, “Oh well, if you go, we will terminate your employment.” You’re not allowed to use the bathroom unless you’re on break or have a doctor’s note for accommodations. They will also cut your lunch down to 30 minutes during busy seasons or randomly change your break, which is awful, considering it’s the only time you can use the bathroom. Don’t work here. It’s not worth it.

Pros

…You have a job. You will love it for a moment, just stay in it long enough, and you’ll be ready to leave. Mark my words.

Cons

PTO use, no raises, no opportunity for growth, unless you’re a “favorite”. The little growth you may receive, there’s no pay raise for it, just the benefit of being off of the phone. Company is unorganized, and supervisors are not on the same page. Also works off the point system, even if things are beyond your control. Doesn’t understand there is a life outside of the company. You don’t get an increase of PTO/sick time per year, PTO doesn’t roll over, only sick time. Benefits suck all the way around. There is no positive thing that happens, therefore the company frequently hires.
