I work with a great team of dedicated people

Bare bones expensive high deductible insurance Terrible raise program - after they bragged about how good it would be, and almost all of us have gotten nothing over the past several years No bonus program except at the highest levels 401k match has become annual - you won't get your company money unless you are still working the January after the previous year . But fees are taken out quarterly. Little advancement opportunity, which is sad in a company with 90,000 employees Skimpy archaic PTO and holiday offerings Trust in corporate is non-existent

Deceiving Hours...

Good people, decent pay, interesting job, when it's busy...

Cons

Hours are not what I applied for, mandatory overtime EVERY weekend - never have a day off, was not informed of mandatory overtime in my interview or when I started, company is changing contracted hours in a few months so shift pattern I applied for will no longer be available. Staff turn over is insane, people are dropping like flies. Shame because if the hours were as they were on the job listing it'd be the perfect Mon-Fri job for my schedule.

*Paid training *The last 2 supervisors I had were very supportive and understanding. I had 2 emergencies and they were accommodating. *I was able to get a schedule change a little bit after training that better accommodated me. *Don’t have to leave your house, especially in the cold, because you work from home. *Unlimited overtime and I needed it at the time I worked there

Cons

*Call center jobs just suck in general. I mean, long hours on the phone dealing with ungrateful people. Dealing with complaints ALL day long is so draining. It took a toll on my mental health after a while. If you have no other skills, it’s good for you. But other than that, it’s something until you get something else. *No weekends off. Ever. *Work on holidays. Luckily my day off fell on a holiday so I got lucky. But while I was there I worked 2 holidays. Even though you’re from home, you feel trapped. *When your fellow co-workers don’t show up on weekends, it puts more work on the people that do. So you’re taking back to back calls like a robotic machine. It’s inhumane. *I’ll never work at another call center for as long as I live.
