Working at a large FF, you have exposure and opportunity to move within a variety of functions that you would not elsewhere.

Cons

In the US, the acquisition of Bax Global and the subsequent failed integration spread its dysfunction through many of the branches and departments. Lack of communication and general sense of direction continues to permeate the environment leaving a less than pleasant workplace.

large company with very extensive scale. Can have internal opportunites but it seems that good divisions vary immensely especialluy form country to country

Cons

very cliqueish, limited training, management always skews information to their favour if they ahare anything meaningful at all. clinical and highly untrusting environment

Pros

The other employee's are the only thing worth turning up for each day. I have met and work with some really wonderful people.

Cons

There is no real opportunities in Schenker to progress. You may be offered a higher title, but they do not offer the money to go with the position. You are expected to manage staff for the same money as the people you are suposed to be leading.
