Pros

Fairly stable in terms of job security.

Cons

Slow moving bureaucratic style company. Not a place to make a career if you are one who likes to get rewarded for the work you do. They tend to reward for the time you put in, rather than what you accomplish. Lots of redundant management positions helmed by people who have been there for years. These positions are also redundant.

Pros

It is nice to be able to be exposed to different cultures and work with others from across the world on a daily basis. Having daily contact with others in different countries makes this job fun.

Cons

Since this is a German company, the US offices are often treated as redheaded step children. Upper management exploits its little worker bees, and no one shows actual appreciation except for managers and supervisors who can only provide a "great job" here and there.
