Tons of cons.
Management is terrible. There's no support from management. It's all about get things done. Be Robotic. Not really caring about the people who help the company progress. No Organization. No room for Career Growth. You'll be stuck in the same position for years. This company does not offer much to their employees. A lot of butt kissing and even then you'll go nowhere because upper management just wants to use people. Management does not train people accordingly or have the organization or "time" to ensure training is necessary. If you make ONE mistake and it's costly, it's like you've hung yourself with them. The spirit of micromanaging should be the Alma Mater for this location.
The ORD station is not a good place to retire or a great career move. IF you do work at this location it's probably best you use it as a stepping stone and find a much better company offering much more incentives and benefits to their employees.
Trust me Schenker is not the best company. Period.
