laid back atmosphere, company is flexible when it comes to taking time off or taking care of personal issues. decent benefits package.

Cons

the company offers uncompetitive salaries, limited room for growth, offers retirement plan however currently no matching program. some senior employees do not show respect possibly because they feel they are in a position of some authority

Great people and co workers. They are really what makes it a decent place to work. Very experienced and helpful as well.

Cons

Transition has taken very long. Can sometimes be pulled in too many directions rather than focusing on one task at a time.

Pros

High amount of dedication and commitment by management and employees. Compensation and recognition received when earned. The Company is merging with BAX Global and taking time to do it right. Management is avoiding mistakes DHL made after purchasing ABX. The Company does appear committed to keeping as many employees as possible. Morale is high even in uncertain times.

Cons

Job security concerns and anxiety due to merger with BAX Global and weak industry. Information and training communication breakdowns to employees that can most benefit. There are cultural differences between BAX and Schenker employees. The mixing of the two company systems, policy, procedures and HR can leave you very confused.
