Few pros to working for this company. Sheer size is what is keeping it going at this point. Management is working on improvements, but seem disconnected from the workforce.

Cons

Pay does not reflect the level of talent and commitment the company expects. Very political environment. Rank and file have not bought into current transformation being executed. No security for any position.

Pros

DHL pays market base or slightly higher wages. Advancement and other job opportunities are readily available. DHL compensates for job related education.

Cons

Antiquated IT systems which result in errors and lost productivity. Tracking and tracing very limited. Globalization will result in lost personal interaction with customers. Customers like to be able to contact same office and agent. Believe DGF is heading in the wrong direction on this one.

Global company with resources to get the job done. IT department had the right tools to be efficient, effective, and productive. IT PM's are very good.

Cons

IT Project focus changes constantly. Had it not been for great IT PM's, projects would have been difficult to fulfill.
