Global opportunities, but you need to work hard to get them
Pros
Global reach, well-known brand, industry leader, great colleagues. Broad service portfolio, so there is almost nothing your customer could ask from you that your company can't provide. Encourages both geographical and functional mobility & experience, but you need to actively search that out for yourself, don't expect DHL to create your career for you.
Cons
In most eyes not a "sexy" industry, undergoing frequent changes and cost cuttings, tough competition internally for interesting jobs. High cost structures due to complex organizations, overheads and decent pay for skilled staff means you may lose out on business opportunities because you will never represent the industry cost leader, so you need to work harder to prove the value for money.
