      Pros

      available of online learning resources, good name in logistics industry

      Cons

      low salary for entry level staff, very limited growth opportunity for staff who are working hard but not engaging in company politics, work until midnight due to the mistakes in other regions; very conservative culture and political environment

      Great opportunities worldwide, mean on salary progression

      Pros

      Strong on customer service - most managers have to go through "first choice" training. Good internal job website for onward progression worldwide. Strong on diversity in global head office (don't know whether this is the case in the countries) - we have people from around the world, whilst women have the opportunity to reach the very top - we have quite a few female CxO's. Strong expat social scene in Bonn due to the high amount of DHL expats + T Mobile + UN + Deutsche Telekom + University + Deutsche Welle + the international schools.

      Cons

      Worklife balance is poor - 50 hrs at my desk is quite good and people in other divisions say the same. I think that's because we're global head office, so take that with a pinch of salt. With the exception of some Asian countries, payrises over 10% are exceptionally difficult to get.

      Pros

      one of the best places to start, hard-core logistics operation experience, especially LLP department provides high-end solutions to big customers, (ford, p&g etc.) best in other logistics companies but still not compared to customer side, worldwide exposure. comments are limited to Turkey - LLP Operations.

      compensation is always lower than market value, no clear career plan is introduced, no company culture is established, performance is evaluated subjectively, almost no HR support. comments are limited to Turkey - LLP Operations.
