Not a place to work if you need guidance or training.
Pros
Moved to a new building in March 2014 which is always nice and a good location. The employees were all very friendly and easy to get along with. Good Benefits for full time employees.
Cons
Lack of training. I was being trained by the person whom I was replacing and wasn't getting the training I needed. I felt like I was being set up to fail. Knowing what I know now I would have never taken this position. I was left alone during the day while everyone else worked the night shift and rarely heard from anybody in our corp or regional office. I was expected to spend time sorting mail in the warehouse on top of my admin duties. Nobody from corp or the regional mgr. ever showed any interest in what I was doing or how I was getting along until something went wrong then they got very interested. The supervisors and leads in the warehouse are all under so much pressure to meet their production numbers that they are constantly having to sort the mail themselves (so they can go home) and not given the time they need to properly train the sorters and encoders. When numbers begin to fall they know that their jobs are on the line and that is no way to work. Most of the employees are temps which is probably better since they get treated better than the DHL employees who have been loyal to this company for many years only to be Part Time employees which excludes them from any type of benefits from the company.
