      Alot of allure initially but in reality, an okay place to work

      Pros

      -Name recognition -Fancy offices -Pending on project, you can be reimbursed for travel, etc -Great infrastructure for knowledge sharing and traversing through the Deloitte network -World wide network

      Cons

      -Technically behind other consulting firms in terms of capability (at least in respective to custom development) -Mainly a finances firms (focus around SAP, people soft and various finance/resource related work) -If in a cleared practice, Deloitte will almost hire anybody with a clearance -Goal is to make a buck ultimately -Expected to work long hours, if you don't...you will not have paid your dues (thus you will not do well in the firm). -A lot of politics to play, this is one of the places where you absolutely have to play politics to succeed

      - Opportunity to intern abroad - Really nice people (I loved my direct managers) - Easy to take vacation

      Cons

      - High turnover - Confusion over what to do at times - Heard rumblings from full-time employees who were upset with having more work piled on them by partners...(partners get a share of those fees, employees work tons of hours and get paid less than American counterparts)

      -You'll work with some of the smartest people you've ever met -A real 'brand name' -Diverse activities

      Cons

      -Senior leadership pratices strategy from 1962 -Luck plays a BIG part of upward movement -Mid-year and annual reviews are arbitrary at best
