      1. Working with bright, ambitious, and hardworking colleagues 2. Challenging project with considerable learning abilities 3. Promotion opportunities, especially for junior staff, comes early and quick 4. Great networking opportunities

      Cons

      1. Work / Life balance is not for those with families 2. Travel can be daunting 3. The strength of Senior Management is selling and client management, not project or staff management 4. Heavy reliance on offshore resources

      Understand the Deloitte HR model and suck the marrow out of the Deloitte experience.

      Pros

      Deloitte is open and honest regarding the nature of its business and HR Model. The sky is the limit and the most telented and hard working individuals will be rewarded. Be honest with yourself and ask if you want to make the sacrifice. Otherwise, learn as much as you can and move on.

      Cons

      The weight of administrative duties. No one monitoring the cummulative impact of administrative duties (e.g., endless HR and partner goals and objectives) on the effectiveness of the individual and the ability to deliver value to the client. Sometimes forgets the core business is delivering value - not building empires.

      - Great name - Great exposure to learning various industries and techinical skills - great flexibility in vacation/time off (lots of days)

      Cons

      - Most of the time = little work life balance --- they work you quite a bit - horrible 401k
