- Non-transparent compensation system and lack of recognition of employees for a job well-done. - Evaluation system that is based on mostly word of mouth and who you worked for, not very objective. - Could pull long hours of work but without proper compensation and recognition. - Poor retention policies related to employees - No work life balance, have high expectation of its employees and their ability to address client concerns on a timely basis.

No appreciation for family life. The Partner mantra is "Firm First" before any other priority. There are well known Deloitte work place customization activities, but those initiatives are not typically or widely available to those who are on the more aggressive partner track. The firm also considers itself a "Career Enhancer" rather than a "Career Destination" meaning it doesn't necessarily view itself as a place where people should spend their entire career, rather its a stepping stone. I think this view is currently accurate but would prefer to see initiatives to embrace the "Career Destination" path.
