Pros
It is definitely the experience and the big 4 name you get to put on your resume once you are ready to leave. The variety of projects and clients you get to work on is another plus as you get to learn a lot during shorter period of time. There is a lot of variety and you never get bored with doing the same thing over and over. It is also nice to have 25 days off per year.
Cons
The work-life balance is non-existent. There is not much flexibility, especially at the beginning career level. Work is always the main priority and never your family or your health. At times working at D&T is just plain unhealthy, as you just sit at your conference room spot for 11-13 hours and eat take out food all the time. You physically don't have time to exercise or you have to choose between that and sleep time, which should equal at minimum to 7 hours for an adult. There are always budget/utilization and other pressures that most of the times conflict with one another. You are supposed to be utilized the more the better and at the same time you are not supposed to be spending too much time working on a particular project. Definitely not a place for people with families or those who want to have one.
