Pros

The people, on an individual level are good. The benefits package meets or exceeds everything in the area (especially on vacation / sick policy). Work from home allowance seems flexible, but appears to be at the discretion of your direct manager.

Cons

I was hired under the impression that this was a "Google like" dev workshop, but every time we have a visitor from New York or London, we have to put on suits and ties to pander to our overlords. This center has zero autonomy, and no control over the products we are "in charge" of delivering.

Pros

Great team atmosphere and focus on worklife balance. Serious focus on agile and doing projects right. Lots of OSS in use. Challenging projects with notable impacts.

Cons

Antiquated technology (i.e. Win XP, IE) Bureaucracy and resources are the hardest part of any IT project. Politics of higher ups often subverts otherwise logical implementations, dilating project rollouts.
