      Great place to start a finance career, many issues, too much politics

      Good benefits, work from home, global exposure, casual environment, easy access to senior management

      Cons

      Politics and poor management. Promotions and salaries are not fairly managed. Many unqualified senior employees and managers with too much politics. Workload is not fairly shared. Many unnecessary managers and senior level people pretending to be working. Poor system and technology.

      One of the largest investment bank. Higher salary than normal companies.

      Cons

      Bad work life balance. Low upside for bonus even if you work hard and achieve goals. Lack of job security. DB is a bond house, has low commitment to equity business.

      Pros

      Lots of room to identify issues and work independently to come up with solutions to fix the same. Issues are endless, so there is definitely a lot of room to work in this space.

      Cons

      Getting management to acknowledge the issue and agree on a plan for remediation that can be completed is definitely a difficult task. Many remediation projects get started, but few ever get finished.
