Pros

They paid up to bring in good talent and they always were bringing in league table topping traders and sales desks.

Cons

Mercenary culture. Everyone came in for the money and they will all leave for $5 more elsewhere. No opportunity for advancement or promotion. Only a stepping stone to the next job. Dead end. Toxic management. Snake pit.

Pros

Great Company for benefits. Global company so get to colloborate with employees from various countries. Opportunity to learn from a global prespective.

Cons

Missing strong mid level managers. Hiring process can be based on who can recommend their own candidates and not completely on talent or professional background. One can get hired if you know the right people. Preference given mainly to local workforce only. Work experience is based on what team or domain you end up working with. Some teams are really great and some teams not so great.
