It is a pleasant place to work, the people are friendly and generally competent, the projects I have worked on have been interesting and a good learning curve, the hours are good

Cons

Current economic climate put people of their toes, a lot of protectionism for projects that are not necessarily the best strategic platform for the bank but have a lot of built up skill

One of the top IBs in the world today and have a strong and respected CEO. Fast moving and fast paced. Leading the way....... Not following.

Cons

A great deal more, for a great dal less. They'd rather pay £20k more for an external and pay a £30k search fee to an individual with no network then keep hold of talent and pay them £15k more (per annum).
