Amazing experience and culture in Germany, yet totally different company in NY.

Pros

Very good work life balance. Management is understanding is very understanding in case you need to work from home or have to come later/leave earlier.

Cons

Information flow is disrupted. Communication among groups is limited and makes working there very frustrating. There is also team spirit missing due to this fact.

Working for such a big brand such as DB gives you an inside look at how big companies function

Pros

Again, I was able to see how big companies function. This is what happens when you get to work with a big-brand company. Deutsche Bank's investment banking sector (which functions highly as a team) was very interesting for me to see that it had a highly collaborative effort among the staff.

Cons

The downsides of working at DB is that hours are pretty bad and given that I was working in a different part of the world, the culture didn't seem to quite fit with what was back in Germany. As an intern, I didn't see DB giving an extra effort to retain its staff for full-time positions. Also it's training program for interns could be improved. As a senior staff, I would have liked DB to pay more attention to them.

Excellent benefit package. Finance industry.

Cons

Too much restriction to work for a bank (true for all bank). Work environment is not efficient. The work is not very challenging.
