Pros

Young working environment that allows for a good work/private life balance. Management is very sensible to individual needs and supporting especially with junior colleagues.

Cons

Tedious job, range of products is very limited compared to the entire DB potential, in some circumstances the management does not give the idea of being competent in specific areas. Promotions seem to be awarded based on age, merit is somewhat less relevant. Bonuses have only recently pushed up to market average.

Pros

more conservative than American banks, so less likely it will go bankrupt. Management is solid, benefit is ok as well

Cons

pay is not top, but is ok considering it's a European bank, very very hard to move inside the bank, i.e. change functions culture is not very exciting, hey, it's German
