Pros

Hedgeworks provided a great opportunity to learn about all aspects of hedge fund operations. I believe the experience would be particularly relevant to someone looking to become a COO or CFO of a hedge fund.

Cons

Being a small business, employers typically have to manage the client relationship all by themselves. Its an opportunity to learn, but it can be challenging.

Pros

Great working environment, ability to control you career, good management structure/style

Cons

Not the greatest pay in the world. Probably has a lot to do with the weak economy.

Pros

it is an entrepreneurial company, if you show you can handle responsibility, you will be given it, and that is rewarding

Cons

the hours can be bad, the people can be competitive, and it is a huge corporation, so some of the bad that goes along with that is present
