Pros

dynamic team comprising of well rounded individuals who really know the business. In favour of term SME (subject matter experts), meaning you actually become a specialist your area. On-going system developments imply potential for greater efficiency & automation.

Cons

major re-org recently implemented resulting in certain consolidation of business areas, potentially higher business volumes & longer hours. Much uncertainty still remains surrounding ownership of reviewing traders "flash" PnL. In favour of "smart-sourcing", perhaps a little too much

Pros

Variety in type of work and opportunity for rotation adequate. Flexible and friendly work environment. Good opportunities for learning and development which are encouraged.

Cons

Do not consider all directors and MD's to be good and competent managers. IT and systems are generally a huge constraint.
