Pros

DB paid for the best talent and it has it. They are the banks greatest asset.

Cons

The bank is unable to differiniate talent, assets and egos. It's struggling with globalization and heavy with bureacracy. Additionally, when senior management is frequently seeking out the advice of HR it is a sign that there is something terribly wrong with a company.

Pros

Diverse, detailed processes, great brand name, understanding the current organisational context, doing well in recessionary times, continously challenging the status quo, gives challenging assignments, opportunities in your home country as well as abroad, very subject matter expertise oriented

Cons

Risk averse and bureucratic in certain situations, as it is very sme oriented it is a very silo fdriven organisation with matrix reporting, hence employees are not very sure of the reporting lines and sometimes managers are also not very sure as to how to deal with their subordinates as they feel they do not have the requisite authority.
