Clearly from the pros, if a company's pro is just the vacation days and people being friendly, then it must be something wrong. Green card policy is a promising policy that dose not like to happen. There are some people does start their green card application process, but there are more people that have never been given a clear answer, no matter from HR or manager. Too many excellent people left and left a bunch of mediocre people or someone just doing social or reading news all day. This is a perfect example for "Dead sea effect". Social with people and let everyone know you is the key part instead of working hard. Technology stack here is terrible and the same to guys who is operating it. You can see technology was no longer used more than 15 years ago. Platform is not reliable . Even your daily service like Jira , bitbucket will also have daily access issue. People being friendly does not mean that they have the qualified skills for the job. Then it will be your turn to suffer it. Bad code, awkward tool developed, bad story description. And then it's your fault that you are being so slow.
