Pros

High salary, expect to be paid 30% more than what you could get elsewhere, though no bonus. There is no other upside

Cons

The people are unskilled and lack basic intelligence, they survive in the organisation on knowledge of it. Group processes are broken, I joined and it took two weeks to be provided with a working computer/login details (I am a FTE).

Pros

- New CEO is trying to reverse the image of banking instilled by the previous leadership teams. - Opportunities to move around different areas of the bank locally and globally. - Great benefits. - DB encourage their employees to take part in lots of charitable work and allocate time for this.

Cons

- Too many politics. - Enourage competition between employees rather than creating synergy between them. - Too much focus on an individuals profile rather than ability to do the job. - Very slow paced in some areas. Work being repeated by numerous employees. Very inefficient. - High staff turnover rates. - Not a good place to progress fast. - A lot of unhappy people at the NCT levels. - A lot of employees at AVP level and above are not adding enough value to the business and nobody seems bothered. No wonder they have a cost problem.

Pros

Good private pension contributions if you are 30 yrs old or above. Good salary, considered the low complexity of work. Very friendly environment with your pairs. HR team will help you if you want to move to another team or branch.

Cons

Your tasks will be very repetitive. Low training is provided because you boss most of the time doesn't know himself the bank's products and the HR don't want to pay for external training. Expect a lot of bureaucracy, which mainly doesn't come from Germany but from your line manager, who will be obsessed about control. He/she will create tasks that are not related to your work just to check on you. The Dublin site is considered bad by other branches all around the world. Hence, colleagues from other branches can treat you very badly. The offices are based in the Eastpoint business park which is impossible to reach. The food from the canteen is low quality and the selection is poor.
