Pay might be ok for some but the cons far out way the benefits.

Cons

From day one I could tell the environment was toxic. You'll be fine if you happen to be part of the white click, If you happen to be any other race then forget it, you're just a slave to them. Oh if you happen to be a cute white chick than the old white men in management will shower you with praise and you barely need to do any work in that case, heck you don't even need to know how to code that well.

Cons

Zero Wage growth year over year despite overachieving on year end reviews. Little support during the pandemic and expected to buy your own equipment eg laptop No growth in the US you are viewed as an expensive employee and they want to move your role to a low cost location. Don't expect any support from your manager they will talk about work life balance and mental health but it's just talk you are overburdened with work and they will not hire additional support. Expect to work 10-12 hours a day be available for meetings from 7am and have to work occasional weekends
