Great benefits, private healthcare for family, 30 days holiday, season ticket loan and more.

Cons

No individual bonus or objectives for staff below VP level. Work /life balance poor. No rewards for hard working junior staff. Hard to get a pay rise or promoted unless you have friends in high places, talent doesn’t matter.

Opportunities to move departments and locations. Good salaries, but don't expect a bonus or any promotions. People are generally nice.

Cons

Recent words used by various employees - bizarre, insane, managers are dictators, don't care about delivery, purposefully trying to get people to leave to reduce costs. I was even offered hugs, rather than the promotion and bonus I had worked hard for and told I deserved, by a Managing Director in an effort to make me stay. I raised this to HR but nothing was done. Everyone I know still there are trying to leave.

Managers are promoted based on individual contributions and are never put though any former training or how to mange sot there is an extreme lack of leadership. The culture is terrible and a lot of angst. With DB's current focus on cost cutting, people are realizing they they are simply viewed as a cost that can be cut whenever necessary. In addition, there are few exceptions to backfill positions for employees who leave so remaining team members are left to take on the functions for all those who are terminated or leave for better opportunities
