Vision without Execution

Pros

Great people and a compelling vision for transforming the bank. Great pay, but there is a reason for that.

Cons

Leadership is rewarded for the wrong criteria, size of teams, budget, not value they generate. Highly political organization, Who you know is the most important factor for promotions and opportunities. Location strategy is badly broken. After years of trying we still hire developers in the most expensive cities in the world.
