Pros

Smart and hard working people with a fairly entrepreneurial culture. Feels like very silo'd businesses if you like that sort of environment

Cons

General Morale is poor due to recent comp rounds. Lots of focus on regulation which eats into a lot of your time. Very flow focussed with less and less time spent taking positions

Pros

Convenient location outside of downtown, good opportunities in some areas.

Cons

If you are not labeled immediately as a Sr. Mgmt favorite, then move on. You will be stuck forever. Stock is plummeting - no bonuses for last two years and threat of nothing in year three. Massive layoffs and horrible morale.

Pros

Decent culture but changed for the worst over the years. Good vacation policy. Flat organizational structure at least within some of the individual group.

Cons

Lack of transparency. Senior management hired from competitors didn't contribute and left as soon as their guarantees expired. Doesn't invest in their most important asset - people. Underpaid relative to the street.
