Traditional Telco- big, slow and bureaucratic

* Collaborative work atmosphere, great colleagues, excellent working conditions * Good compensation and benefits * Good worklife balance

Cons

* Increased focus on Telecommunications leaves lot of (boring) telco jobs and very few opportunities in emerging (interesting) areas * Poor middle management leads to lack of clear direction, no sense of purpose for projects and lot of internal politics * Over the years, Deutsche Telekom has become very germany-focused - offering very few opportunities with international exposure.

The overal experience was very pleasant, everyone on the team I worked with was friendly and supportive. The company paid well including for the training.

Cons

I did not work there long enough, and only as a part-timer, so I did not notice any major problems.
