Pros

Discover provides a very comfortable work environment with the technology and tools needed to do the job. Dress code is casual.. There is a nice sense of camaraderie. Provides great resources NMLS state licensing preparation. Comprehensive benefits.

Cons

Corporate seems uncertain about their commitment to the mortgage business. A major reduction in work force made job security a legitimate concern. Very long days and weekends required. Distribution of high quality leads is VERY political. Commission income was frequently impacted by unmotivated loan processors.
