Pros

Benefits are great, fairly casual environment, and some genuinely good people. 25 PTO days off is a great benefit and their health care offerings are some of the best that I have seen. The work environment is business casual, with some jeans days on Fridays, and there is an opportunity in the summer to work 4 nine hour days and take a half day on Friday.

Cons

Career advancement is almost non-existent. All management and above positions are hired from outside Discover so that leaves insiders out in the cold. If you are a younger employee looking to gain experience there is a lot of opportunity, but to be able to move up the ladder you will most likely have to go elsewhere.

Pros

It is great for those people who have no children or family responsibilities! There are several shifts that are great for people of different work styles and needs.

Cons

There is no concern for employees with children and babysitting problems..there are so many different quotas and percentages that one has to keep track of that the real job one his hired to do must take backseat to looking good on paper not so much for the account manager but for the Team Leader...
