It is a place where you can say you go to work. It is a very well known company.

Cons

even though I did very well this is not a place that I would recommend. It is a factory environment that looks like a professional business but feels like a prison. For all the computers and technology, it is hard to see how so much money could go to waste. What Discover does is spy on it's card members. We can in an instant see everything about them. Management is chosen for it's suspicious nature and ability to avoid any kind of responsibility. I would liken Discover to a hen house. There is a very visible pecking order.

Competitive health benefits and time off.

Cons

Management is severely inexperienced and company does not have good morals. They definitely don't practice what they preach. Lots of internal positions, but they already know who they want for the job. So if it's not you, you're done before you started. They promote lazy people, and the hard working people are pushed aside. You can last here for decades doing as little as possible.

Executive Management rules with an iron fist and promotes this type of behavior within their ranks. Most of these people would never make it in a REAL company because these antics would never be tolerated. Company is a magnet for horrible management and self proclaimed "brainiacs" who love to hear themselves talk yet produce nothing.
