The people I worked with including my direct managers made it great! Work life balance was good. Good benefits. Excellent career development.

Cons

Top leadership was not transparent and only cared about themselves. Very political as in good ole boy/girl club.

- The people you work with in the day-to-day are nice - The office tries to host fun events, but sometimes they can be a bit corporate-y and lame

Cons

- Commute can be a problem if you don't live close - Every decision has to go through many people, making the work a drag

I love Discover. The culture is positive, the leadership is supportive, and there's opportunity for advancement

Cons

Even in a good environment, bad guys get ahead. There's a small group of petty dictators that will ruin anyone they percieve to be a threat - which is almost anyone with a brain and is willing to speak up. Dictators only want yes men.
