      Unclear impact of Capital One acquisition

      Pros

      Pre Capitol One acquisition in May 2025, I was thrilled to work for and with Discover. Remains to be seen whether any positive culture attributes can survive the change and ingestion into what is not as attractive a culture. Be aware that past reviews of Discover will not translate to Capital One. Explore reviews for both companies.

      Cons

      We had hoped some elements of the great things about Discover would survive, it doesn't appear to be likely, but we shall see.

      If you're not Wipro you don't matter

      They have pretty Nice benefits PTO, sick time

      Cons

      Low pay and if you aren't Wipro they don't care about you you will take over 100 calls a day and you no longer get to investigate fraud claims they gave that to Wipro in India so you can take more calls and if you're burnt out higher ups will blame that on you not their horrible decision making
