      This is the worst job I've ever had (including the one where most of what I did was shovel manure).

      Pros

      If you can figure out the magical combination of words to talk people into donating, you can make a living wage.

      Cons

      The management was awful. The training was useless. The advertised wages were a joke unless you were a canvassing wizard. There was no support, no flexibility, and almost no room for a bad week.

      Pros

      Welcoming and positive work environment. Directors will work with your schedule, and encourage a healthy work/life balance. Pay is very decent compared to other positions that require little experience or entry level.

      Cons

      Burnout will happen eventually. Working in the elements and consistently being told "No" can become daunting.

      - Only actually canvassing for 5 hours but paid for 8 - Very independent Job - Management is relaxed and nice - Quota not too hard to hit - Great pay

      Cons

      - Need to be exactly on time each day - Fired if not hitting quota on a consistent basis - Work in all weather
