Pros

You will make great connections with many of your co-workers at Dynatrace. If working hybrid/in-person, the office locations offer many amenities such as free meals, game rooms, and more. Dynatrace also offers multiple Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) for a variety of groups to help employees connect with each other on a closer level. Benefits are also decent, with 401k matches (albiet a poor one), health insurance, HSA contributions, and ESPP offerings.

Cons

Dynatrace is a rapidly growing company that has undergone several changes across their internal organizations over the past year. Many of these changes have had negative effects on the employee experience. Between layoffs, lack of pay increases, and leadership changes, this is not the same company I have worked at for more than three years. Management has a habit of rewarding exceptional workers with more work, as opposed to offering pay increases/promotions. Longer tenured employees are now seeing direct hires come in and making more than them, with lesser knowledge of the Dynatrace's SaaS Platform. This creates a burnout loop in a role where there is no additional compensation to your base salary, with feedback falling on deaf ears. What was once a great working culture has become an environment of daily tension, stress, and constantly hoping things will change.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. It’s great to hear you’ve built strong connections and enjoy the benefits we offer. As a company in a high‑growth market, we’re evolving quickly—and with growth comes change. We’re sorry to hear that recent changes have impacted your experience—no one should feel unsupported or undervalued. Your feedback about workload, recognition, and compensation is important, and we understand how discouraging this can feel. Thank you again for your honesty and for being part of Dynatrace.
