      Life is unfair

      Pros

      Nice people all around. Lots of upskilling opportunities. Somewhat interesting projects. Remote work.

      Cons

      It's getting worse since 2023. Salary is not competitive. There are no relocations. There are no offline community events, only boring online ones. There are no business trips. The company has a skewed seniority pyramid with lots of directors who are toxic, incompetent and won't listen to people. The company doesn't respect its employees. There is a feeling of isolation and lack of vision or common goal. You are constantly being lied to about everything (promo, relo, benefits, etc).

      Pros

      Collaborative culture that promotes innovation and ownership. Strong support for career development and upskilling. Opportunities to lead impactful projects across global teams. Transparent communication from leadership. Flexible work model with a healthy work-life balance.

      Cons

      Internal processes can sometimes be slow and bureaucratic. Cross-team alignment may require additional effort. Growing rapidly, which brings occasional organizational shifts. Budget approvals and tool adoption can be delayed.

      Pros

      EPAM empowers employees to take ownership and lead initiatives fostering leadership development. Offers excellent platforms for skill enhancement through certifications, training, and mentoring programs. Acknowledges employee achievements globally. Strong emphasis on diversity and inclusivity, with support for initiatives , cultural events, and panel discussions. Hands-on involvement in impactful projects , enhancing client relationship and problem-solving skills. Provides clear pathways for career progression with roles that allow both technical and managerial growth, like my journey toward Engineering Manager.

      Cons

      haven’t encountered any major cons. Like any growing organization, there can be challenges, but EPAM provides a supportive environment to address and overcome them
